I go to two different places to stream movies. The first is Hulu. http://www.hulu.com.
Unfortunately, they don't have the full Adventureland movie on there (the movie studio has to agree to put their content online for free streaming, and they have not done that). But they do have some interesting content about the movie, including trailers:
http://www.hulu.com/videos/search?query=adventureland
If you have Netflix, you can also go to http://www.netflix.com and do live streaming there. They don't have all their movies streamed (again, because of the movie studio's decision, not Netflix's) but thousands are available.

does anyone know a good website for watching movies online without having to download them? i feel an urge to watch adventureland!

Optionally you can visit http://www.moviewatchlist.com/ to watch movies online without having to download them.
