Did you know Hugh Laurie used to be a comedian before House?

Yes! He is extremely well known in the UK as a comedian, and formed a very successful double act with Stephen Fry. One of his most popular shows was "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" which was made up of sketches.

He also appeared in the very popular sitcom Blackadder.

Oh yea A Bit of Fry and Laurie was an awesome sketch show, still funny now. I think the songs are the best:
