Did Farrah Fawcett, before she dead able to marry her long time partner?

I don't think they were able to marry. I saw an interview with Ryan O'neil where he said he was going to marry Farrah when she got out of the hospital. She wasn't released and a new report claims they did not marry.
He was by her side according to the article, but did not marry her. Sad ending for such a vibrant woman.

In a "20/20" interview that will air tonight, Farrah Fawcett's long-time love Ryan O'Neal tells Barbara Walters that Fawcett "agreed" to marry him before her death, but that never happened. Fawcett's rep has confirmed to Usmagazine.com that the two never ended up getting married.

It is my understanding that after years of Ryan Oneal purposing to her... she had finally accepted his proposal but they were not wed before her death.
