I would venture a bet on Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.
The number one reason for my bet in that direction would be that Dexter lives by a strict moral code and Patrick does not.
Just read this description of Mr. Batemans personality to see the full level of his psychosis and his tendencies towards cannibalism and sexual abuse. Patrick is clearly more insane if one could be so.
Both are serial killers and have the potential of winning but the complete lack of moral code in Patrick Bateman would lean things in his favor.
