@ Lovesh - I like SOME Adidas clothes because of the design of it, not because Beckham or Misdemeanor Elliot is featured in one of their weird, non-sport ADs.' Don't get me wrong, I like those people. However, a person is naive to think, that wearing, or using the same clothes or gear that an admirable, famous, and intimately distant person uses, just because of the brand, is relevant to obtaining actual values of someone. So, trying to be like someone by acquiring an "extension" of a particular personage, isn't always worth it. My proposal: give more money to actual Adidas employees to promote, and less to a lineup of celebrities. I understand that the company wants to exude the supposed reputation of originality in the grand scheme of the idea, not to mention, an attempt to potentially takeover the market for "hybrid-style" imaging, which would include, influencing the interest of kids who would otherwise be less likely to dive into the fashion of collaberation; let's say, a kid with a "soccer-hip-hop" image(lol), etc. But, this AD was ridiculous; painting unidentifiable globs, and blue stripes on a wall? It was the kind of commercial that would have been good, if there was more of a joking spirit to it, or ending in some type of cool way, like showing an elaborate, yet messy painted design on the wall, after the party ended. Or if the whole commercial would have been a straight-up joke basically. I bet it'll be funnier, the second time, when I imagine them all drinking and fist-fighting. HAhahaha.
