The Kansas City Shuffle is a con artist move in which you trick someone into thinking that someone else has a different identity. At the end of the movie, he plants evidence on a body to make people assume it's someone else (trying not to give too many plot spoilers here).

They show some irony at the end of the movie when "Kansas City Shuffle" comes on the radio.
