Come to Richmond Hill, they advertise the largest municipal fireworks display in Canada. Free admission with a nonperishable food donation. "A variety of activities for the entire family are offered, including children's village games, musical entertainment, midway, food pavilion, and so much more." http://www.richmondhill.ca/subpage.asp?pageid=canada_day_celebrations

The city workers strike has cancelled any city sponsored events. There are fireworks at Ontario Place and Downsview Park http://www.pdp.ca/en/events/canadaday2009.cfm along with some other Canada Day events.
