B: My guess is they bought the rights to show the movie cheap, it was a top grossing movie for the year it came out, and they don't feel this is a time they want to buy anything any additional rights. And then, there's always the attraction of flying cows!

Regarding A: It was an an okay movie. There really wasn't a lot of competition in 1996 (Independence Day and Mission Impossible were the other two action hits). But I admit I only watched it once. B: My guess is they bought the rights to show the movie cheap, it was a top grossing movie for the year it came out, and they don't feel this is a time they want to buy anything any additional rights. And then, there's always the attraction of flying cows!
