Warning About Employment Laws Questions
Question

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Am I entitled to my employee personal records from past employers? I am a disabled vet and need the records to boost my disability to 100%.
My last employer has not been responsive to my requests for my records. I was released from my job after having a 2 week migraine and for excessive absences. They claimed I would be put on a leave of absence but they misled me. They are standing in the way of me getting a lump some of over $12,000. While working for them and on OJT they would not allow me to copy training records for the V.A. which resulted in me losing out on $6,000. So far, tallied up, that would be $18,000 and each month that passes after November is another $1,000. Boosting my rating from 90% to 100% means an extra $1,000 per month and free college for both my kids not to mention free medical all around. Also, another previous employer is refusing to help as well.
