As far as I know, FMLA protects all jobs for a period of twelve weeks and that unpaid leave protection is all that the government requires. Short term disability benefits depend on what your particular company offers, but part time employees usually are not on the receiving end of health benefits.

What are the regulations regarding maternity leave at a part time job in NY? Do you get disability benefits?
I have been at my job for at least one year, and there are numerous locations across long island. I have received benefits at my full time positions in the past, but i am currently only working part time. What am I entitled to?
