You could try saving the PDF as an HTML document, and send the email in HTML format. Most email client software (e.g. Outlook) can read and render an email in HTML straight away, but I don't think embedded PDF is supported as popularly.

As far as I know you don't. PDF is a propiatary format made by adobe there is a reason you have to install the acrobat reader and it has to run as a plugin in the browser. There may be some hack to do it but it would only be on your system. If there is something on a page you want to show I would say take a screen shot and paste it in to the body of the email. Otherwise if you have Acrobat Pro you can export the PDF if isn't protected into JPG files etc. and embed those into the email.
