Now whenever you type an email address like answers-test@mahalo it thinks you are talking about a user named mahalo. It isn't the biggest thing to ignore, nor would I recommend people post email addresses too often, but it takes away from the otherwise clean and consistent look if you ask me.

- I ignored one alert and the question did not get published (correct!)
- i replied the second one and it got published
- tried a third one replying with some extra text in the body, this question was not published, note that i did not change the part at the bottom with the code you need to identify the question, i just added some words at the beginning of the reply body. Also note that i waited about 25 minutes before giving up on it

Yikes! Just a heads up. Be careful with posting actual email addresses(even these kind). With as high as this site ranks on search engines, it probably gets crawled by a healthy number of spam-bots that collect the addy's on a page. It can make sorting through responses and auto-posting a real pain...

We are not posting people's e-mail addresses.

Yeah, the answers email addy can be spammed just the same. You'll have a hell of a time with spamassassin or whatever letting the occassional slip and then having it auto-post as a question. I notice this one has a "test" on the end, so I'm assuming it isn't the live addy. Might be something to consider when it does go live though

Guess I should have read a little more closely...oops...that fixes what I was worried about!

This new feature (which I love, but haven't tested yet) illustrates a small annoyance with the feature described here ( http://www.mahalo.com/answers/mahalo-answers-community/new-feature-use-and-symbol-to-link-to-a-userpage-in-questions-and-answers ) Now whenever you type an email address like answers-test@mahalo it thinks you are talking about a user named mahalo. How can I be judged the best answer is there is no question? In lieu of a question, I will answer THE QUESTION, you know "What is the meaning of Life, the Universe, Everything?" A:42
