I don't know of any colleges or universities that are moving to the kindle, but it is a good idea. The state system that is most likely to move that way is Wisconsin's. They have the most enlightened book using system. When I took my kid to some of their colleges to visit, we discovered that they loaned textbooks to the freshmen. They only asked that they be returned marked up and highlighted.
I think that the kindle and other readers are the most overlooked tech products on the market. They may change a lot of how we view computerization.
