As of January 28, “Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire”still has not been picked up for big screen distribution (public viewing), but because it got such good reviews at Sundance and won a few awards, it is expected to be bought soon.
On a side note, there is also a sci-fi thriller named "Push" which is being released on Feb, 6, 2009. Synopsis: "The action packed sci-fi thriller involves a group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities, hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency. They must utilize their different talents and band together for a final job enabling them to escape the agency forever." (IMDB)
