Seth MacFarlane studied animation at the Rhode Island School of Design where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. As a student Seth wanted to work for The Walt Disney Company, but later changed his mind after graduation. Seth's professor at RISD submitted his thesis film entitled The Life of Larry to Hanna-Barbera, where he was later hired.

Cool, that's the right answer, sometimes try breaking free from Wikipedia and finding another source, I always say wikipedia is the best place to start your research, but never where you end your research.

You could have gone to the Rhode Island School of Design website and found his Alumni profile :D
