I found a site with two games, one called winter and one called frogs. Look at the link for the description and songs that go with the games.

http://www.estcomp.ro/~cfg/bulgarian.html

Children also participate in the Thracian custom to drive away evil spirits. Here's the link with more info: http://folkgame.ilccb.gov.tw/folkgame_web/2001/english/team/bulgaria.htm

There is also a bulgarian version of duck, duck, goose. Here's the link http://www.gameskidsplay.net/games/circle_games/dk_dk_gs.htm it's the first one.

I also found a book about traditional children's games from around the world and it has some games from Bulgaria. Here's the link http://www.greenwood.com/catalog/OXGAMES.aspx Unfortunately, you can read about the games online you have to buy the book.

I have done a pretty extensive search over the last hour, and the only things I'm seeing are either Easter/Christmas traditions that are not exclusively Bulgarian, or computer games, or companies attempting to sell new games (not traditional) that they've invented.

Terms I used:

Bulgaria kids games
Bulgaria traditional children
bulgarian traditional children play
bulgarian traditional children games
Bulgarian customs children
bulgaria customs children games

And then I dug down about 20-30 pages in each search.

I know a person from Bulgaria pretty well, but he's not available for the next week or so. Your best bet is to find someone from Bulgaria. Or ask again in a couple of weeks and maybe I can get more information by then.
