it depends upon your cast if you are a muslim you should compulsory learn farsi and arabic languages if you are of other cast if you want you can read or not.

You can't go wrong with either, but I would say Farsi because it is a main language in Afghanistan (where we have a war) and Iran (where we may be at war in the future and will want good intelligence and translation either way) there are also to my knowledge less Farsi speakers than Arabic as far as I'm aware, at-least in my state thats the case, with only 2 people in the state that can speak fluent English and Farsi. But like I said, the government and some private businesses are going to need a lot of either.
