Only 14 albino dolphins have been reported worldwide, three of which found in the Gulf of Mexico.

A couple of pictures were taken from Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries on this site:

But from all my research it appears Erik was the first to photograph these in their habitat. However, there have been pictures taken afterwards:

And to answer your other question, in 2007 the albino dolphin Erik photographed was a slaughter, a baby. No one knows exactly the age, since they are an endangered species not to be tampered with.
