It's about the same for each, it really is. It doesn't matter where you go to school, it matters what you do with it. So, if you have an MBA from Harvard or an MBA from Stanford, or anywhere else, it really doesn't matter. It's what you do with it. In the past year the median salary for both Harvard and Stanford MBAs were $130,000 each. You get paid for what you do for a company, not where you went to school. If an employer is paying you by where you went to school, then they are paying you for the wrong reason. Of course, getting an MBA at Harvard or any Ivy League MBA program may get your foot in the door, but it's up to you to do the job well to get paid.
