Depends on your daily routine. If you are at home, day time would be better rather than sitting on net for late night and spoiling your night sleep which is very important in life to be fresh and energetic for the next day. Ofcourse if a person is working day time, then obviously one has no choice other than sitting late evening or till mid night on net, depends how one is able to compromise with time management.

Directly answering your question however I would have to say that the best time varies on factors related to each persons home life, person preference, and so on. As stated above I like night time hours but that works for me and doesn't mean it will work for others.

For me its late at night (early morning) after everyone else is in bed. I like the peacefulness of working at those hours. Directly answering your question however I would have to say that the best time varies on factors related to each persons home life, person preference, and so on. As stated above I like night time hours but that works for me and doesn't mean it will work for others.
