You will probably want to look into the developer API for the Website Payments Pro Recurring Payments: https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_api_WPRecurringPayments
I believe you can modify the number of payments left for a specific transaction down to 0, effectively cancelling the subscription.

Any way to cancel Paypal subscriptions on-site?
We're currently running Paypal (Website Payments Pro, *not* Payflow Payment Gateway) and would like to start using it for a subscription service. However, form what we've seen the only options for canceling a subscription that is set up through Paypal is to ask the user to log on to the Paypal website to cancel (e.g., this website ). This doesn't seem like an ideal user experience.
Are there any options for canceling a Paypal subscription that don't involve either sending a user to the Paypal website or switching over to the Payflow Payment Gateway?
