I made this one with my daughter as part of our Christmas baking. The fudge couldn't have been better in either taste or ease of preparation.

"1-2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
11/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, milk, butter and salt. Cook and stir until mixture boils (45 minutes). Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla. Stir until ingredients melt and blend. Pour into greased 8inch pan. Chill and enjoy. The thing I love the most about his fudge is that there is no more beating."

This was my grandmother's recipe:

Creamy Marshmallow Fudge
Makes 64 squares.

Ingredients
2 c sugar
3/4 c evaporated milk
16 marshmallows
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c butter
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 tsp vanilla

Directions
1. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, marshmallows, and salt into a boiler.
2. Cook, stirring frequently, until marshmallows and sugar melt.
3. When bubbles cover the entire surface, boil and stir 5 minutes over medium heat.
4. Remove from heat. Beat in butter, chocolate, and vanilla until chocolate is fully melted.
5. Spread into a buttered 9" pan.
6. Chill until hard. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
