This recipe is for strawberry chiffon pie, but the pie filling sounds like what you have described. You could serve it without the pie crust.

She just mixes Strawberry Jello with Cool Whip well, adds in marshmallow, and refrigerates it. In your cases, just substitute pieces of Jello for marshmallow.

Jello and cool whip dessert? Chiffon?
I'm looking for a recipe. My mom has been searching everyday online for a recipe. The desert is called "chiffon" and her mom made it.
She says its made of Jello and coolwhip.
Basically fluffy pink coolwhip/jello with pieces of Jello throughout it;I hope I understood correctly from what shes told me.
Does anyone know the recipe Or perhaps a link to this recipe? My mom says it is sold at grocery stores, but she wants to make it herself. Can anyone help?

Unless I'm mistaken, I understand chiffon to be a different dessert. However, I did find a couple of recipes using jello and cool whip. Maybe these are what you're looking for? http://kidscooking.about.com/od/desserts/r/coolwhipjello.htm

It sounds like a dessert that my aunt makes, except she also includes marshmallows. She just calls it Jello Whip Cream. It turns out like you described. She just mixes Strawberry Jello with Cool Whip well, adds in marshmallow, and refrigerates it. In your cases, just substitute pieces of Jello for marshmallow.
