The Huffington Post link below has a video clip with stills of various species. Several stills of spiders appear in the video. I'm not an expert but, based on other photos of Huntsman spiders, my guess is the spider at 0:27 into the video is the species they refer to.

I also believe it is the Huntsman Spider (Heteropoda maxima). The link that you provided mentions that this spider was discovered in the Mekong Delta region. I performed a Google search on "spider mekong delta." One of those sites mentioned, "... a spider with a leg span of up to 30 cm (11.8 inches), considered one of the largest huntsman spiders in the world." The Huffington Post link below has a video clip with stills of various species. Several stills of spiders appear in the video. I'm not an expert but, based on other photos of Huntsman spiders, my guess is the spider at 0:27 into the video is the species they refer to.
