Consume Tobacco as teen legally, but can't purchase? drug law questions
I'm wondering about what the laws are for drugs in Ontario, Canada.
- I've heard you cannot purchase/pay for tobacco as a minor (under 18) but you can use it.
- I also heard that you can grow your own marijuana and also can't purchase it?
I'm really confused about marijuana use in Canada as some people say the laws are much more lax than the U.S. and I'm really not sure.

I'm not sure about Ontario specifically, but in Toronto I saw several sources that said you can smoke at any age - but you have to be 19 to purchase cigarettes.
