Aside from googling online to find attorneys in your area you can also call your state bar association to ask for an attorney referral.
If you have time to kill and want to see what arraignments are like you can head over to your local courthouse and sit in on the arraignments. If you are in a metropolitan area it won't take long to hear another DUI case. Attorneys can't solicit business in the courthouse, but you can still ask for a business card or two or just remember their names to call them when you get home.
The judges that I have encountered when I was doing pro bono work for the legal aid society were all very reasonable and understanding. The only thing that pissed them off was when people came into court dressed inappropriately.

Ssahron, had some great tips and I'd defiantly follow her advice. While I've never been up against a DUI, I've had a few speeding tickets. Even if this isn't your first time, it's a good idea to spend the time at the courthouse to get a feel for what will go on. You'll pick up the best tips from the people who do well in court and the people who don't.
