For those who grew up in L.A. during the 60's...What was the theme song for the Ch. 9 (KHJ) Movie of the week?

Hint...The song was also the theme for a moderately successful John Wayne movie.

For the "Million Dollar Movie". The music came from Ivanhoe (1952). They also used music from Gone With The Wind.

Not if this is what you meant by "Movie of the Week"?

Actually the answer is "The High and the mighty". It remained the show's theme song during the entire program's history. It was the movie by the same title that was KHJ's first continental transmission.
