What's the most dog friendly neighborhood in Vancouver BC?

We are moving to Vancouver with our 2 dogs and need some input about where to start looking

Except for downtown, I think most neighborhoods in Vancouver are Dog Friendly. Are they big dogs? Perhaps they like running around a lot than you might consider getting a place close to the beaches. Also consider where the vets are in town, you don't want to be too far away.
