Yes I did. I used to have an Australian Shepard, abercrombie and he used to howl, he normally only did it when I returned home and was still outside and hadn't gone in yet. He was a great dog. Once in awhile he would howl at me, I just thought he was singing. I would tell him sing to me and he would start. He was very smart, one of the smartest dogs I have ever known.

I have found those types of characteristics with other breeds too.
You'll have one that will howl, sing and be very vocal... and another that will only occasionally bark. That's it.
It only shows how unique dogs within the same breed can be!
*I was looking for an interesting video of an Australian Shepherd howling or singing, but I found this one instead! LOL

Did you know that Australian shepherds howl?
My red Tri has the most manly howl and she howls all the time when she is happy. My black Tri has never howled in his life. Funny how different they can be,
