Next Question
I think that this is a question best asked of your vet. I personally don't think it is a good idea
To begin with, why is the dog diabetic? Is it age related or a just a general endocrine problem? Or is it because the dog is obese? If the reason that the dog is diabetic is due to obesity, I don't think you should be leaving food out for the dog. It is likely that they dog should be on a special diet to decrease its weight in an appropriate manner - let alone affect its insulin levels.
Secondly, in my opinion, it is not a good idea to feed dogs human food.
Diabetes and diet are so closely interwoven that this question should be directly addressed to your vet.
