I personally think he deserves to be in jail {Stallworth served 24 days after pleading guilty to a DUI vehicular manslaughter charge.} Never mind playing in the NFL again.

He should have a perpetual jail term where he has to stay for some time during the off season. I don't agree athletes having better sentences than regular people, but I rather go with it and see what happens.

I wouldn't sign him, but if the NFL reinstated him, which they have, then he has every right to keep playing, which he will be with the Raven's today. Morally and ethically I don't think he should be allowed to play again, but I'm not in charge of the NFL

lol 3x. They have Ray Lewis. Now they have a guy who plead guilty to charges against him. He deserves a second chance. Of course I can't tell that he's feeling remorseful for his actions. He shouldn't be able to keep all the future to himself. The victim's family should get some share. There should not be any need to make sure Donte gives some money away. He needs to do it on his own. Actually, if he really feel bad about, he would ask his dad, John Stallworth, to give the family some money.

Donte should have a logo, sticker, etc on his jersey to pay tributte to the victim. Donte should also know better to drink and drive because that what everyone hears and talks about. Even if the victim was not obeying a certain law such as jaywalking while walking, Donte should still be found guilty.

I'm glad the Ravens are willing to give people chances after they make mistakes, but they are going be the butt of jokes for a long time.

I also believe that everyone deserves a second chance but I also believe that the punishment should fit the crime.

Thank you for telling me about John Stallworth not being his dad. I wish I could edit my answer before others thinks so after reading it.

Donte's punishment doesn't fit the crime. He was able to avoid stay in jail for years non-stop, but he got away with it. I would not want to try to tell the victim's family about Donte's sentencing. It is a terrible time for them. It is adding insult to injury. Note: He plead guilty. So, after what said I still would let him play in the NFL. The league and the owners have their share of transgressions, but none them was charged vehicular manslaughter. This is not the first time this happened to an NFL player. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/rams/2004-04-26-little-charged_x.htm

It seems like I'm condoning murder and I don't care about the victim's family, but I'm not. Right now the NFL could just do whatever they want. If I was the commissioner, I would have him come back to the NFL family after a certain amount of time.http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Ten-years-later-Leonard-Little-is-sorry-for-kil?urn=nfl,80784

you make an interesting point about the fact that these athletes should know better than to drink and drive, I want to make sure you know that John Stallworth is not Donte's father. Thanks for the comment.
