If you are talking about the tallest man alive that has been confirmed and measured by Guinness World Records adjudicators. He would be Mr Bao Xishun of Inner Mongolia, China. His height is 7 feet and 8.95 inches and he was born in 1951.

If you are asking for the unofficial tallest man alive, the title will go to Mr Leonid Ivanovych Stadnyk from Ukrain. He is standing at 8 ft 5 in (2.57m) but his height was not independently verified.
