Does Anyone Know The Name of This Pirate Romance Novel?

The main female character is traveling on a cargo ship to America to live with her relatives when it is attacked by pirates she lies and says her name is Meghan. The main male character is a pirate who takes her for his prisoner and once she escapes and gets to her relatives home she finds out later that the pirate is engaged to her cousin and pretending to be some wealthy man. I read half of the book and had to leave from where I was reading and lost the name of the book. I have been trying to find it since 2006, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The first link is to a list of romance pirate books - they have covers so you might recognise it from the list, it has 40 novels mentioned
http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2052.Historical_Pirate_Romance_Books

This site mentions a few very popular novels about pirates and romance - they may have it listed although it didn't add to some of what you've written, it might jog your memory
http://historical-romance-fiction.suite101.com/article.cfm/romance_on_the_high_seas

And last link - this article is about pirate romance novels and mentions a few, with covers in case that helps
http://www.likesbooks.com/230.html

I hope one of these helps you find your book, sorry I couldn't find it straight away for you......

There are a couple other sites too you can try. Avon Books, Dorchester Publishing and Zebra Books. I know that they have alot of pirate books.
