Dragon's Den is a good show about VC and small business.
http://www.cbc.ca/dragonsden/
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=MNoGAqqxYIc

The Biography Chanel runs very interesting stories on business folks such as Trump, Louis B. Mayer, Ben & Jerry's, etc. These can be purchased on DVD.

There are some top shelf podcasts that you may find interesting. Brain Brew Radio was a personal favorite if you can find archives of it, Tips From a Marketing Rebel is good, as is Venture Voice.

20/20 runs interesting business stoeies, some of them are here: http://www.amazon.com/ABC-News-20-Winning-Amazing/dp/B0016NOUZ6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1232471417&sr=1-3

I hope this helps!

The Ultimate Gift

Jason thought his inheritance was going to be the gift of money and lots of it. Was he ever in for a big surprise. Based on the best-selling book "The Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall, the story sends trust fund baby Jason Stevens on an improbable journey of discovery, having to answer the ultimate question: "What is the relationship between wealth and happiness?"

I like the Dragon's Den.  It is a panel of already successful entrepreneurs and they judge up and coming companies and individuals who have business ideas.  The panel gives these people critiques of their ideas and companies.  And if the panel likes the ideas enough they will invest money in the companies.  It is very interesting to find what the panel likes and dislikes about existing businesses.  You can really get a gauge of what will work and not work.  Real interesting stuff

Dragon's Den has been mentioned, and it is a pretty good reality show, another great show is PBS's E2 ( http://www.e2-series.com/ ) which is about alternative energy and economics.
