I would say no. The cat doesn't seem that upset about it, just a bit confused.
The cat seems to look very healthy and well cared for in general.

Although it's all about context.. if the owner of the youtube channel has several such videos, then maybe there is cause for concern, but as an isolated incident I'm ok with it.

Personally, I wouldn't call it mistreatment. Yes, the cat was obviously irate and confused, but it is not physically harmed, and those booties can easily come off. I would compare it to playing a harmless prank on a friend - they'll be somewhat upset, but there's no real damage.

No, or just very mildly. This is not in the same league with twisted people who outright torture animals. Booties are not in the same league with chemicals, or fire, or electricity.

This was just a cute way to come up with a video Christmas card.

I feel sorry for cats. They're just there for display. I feel sorry for the cat because of teh booties it is wearing. They seem to be really annoying. But I don't think it was mistreated.

I wouldn't say mistreated, but I wouldn't have done that to my cat because it clearly annoys him, and I would hate for someone to deliberately try to annoy me just for their own amusement.

I have to disagree. As a former therapist that worked in a maximum secure prison, I have zero tolerance for those that find amusement, enjoyment or pleasure from the discomfort of others - animals or people. The measurement isn't whether the creature was tortured or in danger of life and limb but rather the respect or lack thereof for other living things. Without exception, every sick $@!@$! I ever worked with began by "having fun" with animals, then hurting them, then women and children.

Nah. The cat's clearly unhappy, but I wouldn't call it mistreatment.

Even with the incident with the dog, the dog is not the aggressor there. He's just sniffing the cat, like "dude, what's up with the Santa getup?" It's the cat who takes a swipe at him.

It's a cute holiday card type thing for friends, and I think it's harmless.
