Do you think men and women are equal in life?

Are male and female are equal in all aspects??????
Do you think men and women are equal in all aspects of life? First of all they are different look wise, and their voice quality, and so on! Both men and women have their own earned status in a society. But from their childhood most women are taught to listen to males because unfortunately our society is still a male dominated one. Most would say that women are more emotional while men are not.

See, I think there's equal and there's different. Men and women are equal in worth, but they're just different in their makeup and strengths. Men can't have babies - that doesn't make them worth less than women. Women tend not to be as strong as men - that doesn't make them worth less than men. The sad thing is that - our society tends to make perception into reality, so if a woman is paid less for a job than a man, then the perception is that she's inferior to him. But that's not based in reality - it's just an assumption based on how she was unfairly treated in one instance. We're all equal, we're just different, and if we could learn to complement each other instead of compete with each other, we'd be better off.

I do not think anybody is "equal" in life. We are all different, and have different things that we are good at (and different things that we suck at, too). That said, everyone should have an equally loud voice in society, and in that aspect women SHOULD be equal but are very much not.

Sexism is getting better than it has been in the past -- after all, women could not even vote a couple of generations ago. And we are headed in the right direction it seems, although objectification of women is probably worse than it has ever been. If women stand up for themselves for the next few generations, things might be equal in the somewhat near future.

First in what culture?
In the US they have different roles but I think females do alot more from behind the scenes than they let on to. It is females who pick who they want to marry for the most part. Intodays World there are many women who are CEO's and own their own Companies. But there are plenty on the more traditional side that stay home and raise the kids. There are also many where the man is supported by the woman. You see this alot in the Country where men have pick-up trucks and no work and sit in the bar or diner all day and the woman are nurses and such. Then there are woman who get beat by men and there are also men who get beat by woman. In general it is all starting to balance out. But in a personal relationship it is all how each works. Look at Kelly Ripa she makes all the money and her husband acts like the hero.

I don't think so no. Men and women are not the same, I think the sooner that is recognized the better. One thing can be different than another without being better or worse overall. For instance obviously my 6"2 husband is going to be better at say lifting 150lb bags than me as I'm 5'2 however that doesn't make him better than me it makes him better than me at somethings and that same situation could be reversed.

If you mean equal society wise then again I think they are close to being so in America at least. I'd say it's impossible to make a man and a woman entirely equal but at this point a woman or man can do pretty much anything he or she desires to do regardless of sex.

Men and women have never been equal in life, but that does not necessarily mean that any one gender is superior. While there are industries and pursuits that men are overall better in, the same applies to women. The only way that this can change and that everybody be recognized is to no longer have "Men Only" or "Women Only" events. For example, a few women golfers have tried to play in the men's events. Michelle Wie was able to hit the ball further than most men, and played in a number of "men only" golf tournaments but was unsuccessful. In fact, she only one her second career title in a women's event in August, 2010. So one can argue that if women golfers want to be treated equally than they should abolish women's golf. The same goes for other sports.
