Do you prefer Rent the movie or the musical?
I'm watching Rent the movie for the 6th time and I really like it. I also have the DVD of the last performance of Rent on Broadway. Both are great! I adore Anthony Rapp and Idina Menzel in their roles so I watch the movie more often but I'm curious what other people think especially if you saw Rent in person. I never got the chance to see it on stage in person.

I've seen both! It's very good in person (touring or Broadway), but I found it more difficult to follow than the movie version. The movie strays a bit from the musical's plot, but it's much easier to follow the storyline.
