They really do work. The good thing about disinfectant wipes is that they get rid of the bacteria, then you can throw them away. Sponges do the same job, but if you use them over and over again, they get dirty and then you're just rubbing old dirt onto new dirt.
Some people believe, though, that using disposable wipes is bad for the environment. If you feel this way, you can always just use the same sponge over and over, but sanitize it regularly. This is also a cheaper way of cleaning, since you won't have to buy new wipes every time you run out. I've given you a website that tells you how to sanitize a sponge. I know you didn't ask about sponges, but I thought I'd give you options!
