I am a physician, board certified in internal medicine.

The answer is yes, certainly.

A viral infection such as Influenza can certainly give you sweats, a fever but also a feeling of being very cold (we doctors will ask you "do you have any "shaking chills"--which sounds like what you are talking about).

But don't assume that you have influenza B unless a doctor has told you so. Influenza A is more common.

As a physician I am duty bound to tell you to talk to your physician or see a doctor if you are really feeling sick. I can answer your question but don't rely on my answer as a substitute for a visit to a doctor.

Good luck.

Fever is an extremely common symptom of influenza. The reason you are feeling freezing cold is because your body temp has gone up well beyond that of your surrounding area, this difference in temp makes your body feel "cold" even though it is warmer than normal.
