What is the best place to have an Osterich Steak in San Diego. (O.C. to L.A. area also acceptable).

I had the most amazing Ostrich Filet at El Gaucho in Seattle, and can not find a restaurant in SoCal that serves it. It does NOT taste like chicken. Prepared well, it is the best (beef-like) tender, juicy steak you will ever have. It will haunt your dreams, and you will remember it as Top 10 best dinner in your life! Must be that good, or I will find you and take my tip back.

• Thank you for the suggestions. I was looking for an elegant dinner, but the affordable suggestions makes me excited about an Ostrich burger, I'll even order a gator and kangaroo while I'm at it!

I tried Tiolis Crazee Ostrich Burger, and it wasn't all that great. Very neat neighborhood bar feel. Save yourself $6, and order their regular burger platter which was much better.

I'll just go up the list and report back in case there are other people out there as odd as me.
