I was looking up restaurants in Memphis online and here are the ones I found that have some of the best reviews and I also mentioned what kind of food they have (along with the website - so you can view the menu, address, etc.):

1. The Arcade Restaurant - they have pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and breakfast meals. http://www.arcaderestaurant.com

Here's a list of top-voted restaurants (I prefer Brazilian barbecue myself, but traditional Memphis barbecue would be a better bet if you're visiting since you can't find it everywhere).
