If you want something REALLY good, go for "Facil". It's got 2 Michelin stars and the food is amazing. Always bustling and good value for money is "Borchardt's", where you'll run into stars (sort of) and politicians. They also have an Italian restaurant called "San Nicci" - good food, too.
Mind the hip "Grill Royal": so-and-so food and a non existing service.
And if you want to mix with the web crowd go for the café "St. Oberholz".
