Five Guys Burgers and Fries just opened their first store in the state of New Hampshire on October 12th. I had the pleasure of dining at this gleaming beacon on the Temple of Great Burgers in Nashua NH just recently. My tongue can remember the taste quite clearly and as I write this I am starting to see a vision of a return trip today.

I don't know how I feel about this glorious burger franchise being within walking distance. I love the burgers and fries they serve ... the really are delicious but this can't be good for my nutritional well being

If you would like to have this glorious dietary conundrum click here to find a Five Guys near you and begin this beautiful inner turmoil between fantastic burgers and fries and the idea of eating healthy. (I know where you will find this winner)

Your nutritional plan will not last after the first visit to Five Guys so be prepared to loosen the belt and keep the sweatpants on.. its going to be a long winter.

I discovered a Fire Guys near me the other day, which is what prompted this question. Love their burgers, and the free peanuts are great too.

One just opened up in Mobile, Al.

I peeked in the window with Danny and we saw six large females working behind the counter and thought... "That's false advertising!"

It should be called "Six Chubby Chicks" at the Mobile location.

(no... we didn't go in.... yet)

On the scale of great burgers, Five guys rates above the fastfood places like McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys. But they are by no means a great burger. I prefer the burgers at Longhorn or Outback to these. But if I am in the mood for fast food burgers, I definitely would choose 5 guys over the other, and my local 5 guys is within walking distance of both Wendys and McDonalds. Now the fries at 5 Guys, those are great. When I do go to 5 guys, it is usually for the fries, I get a burger just because.....

Yes, we have a couple down here in Jacksonville, FL. They are very good - both the burgers and their fries. Easily in the top 3 for places to get a burger here.

I highly recommend them!
