What's the best way and most simple way to perform "muscle confusion"?

I heard that this is the best way to build muscle and preventing the "plateau effect".

Muscle confusion is simply taxing the CNS (Central Nervous System) to create optimal motor-pathways thereby producing faster and more steady results. PX90 is not muscle confusion at its most optimal levels, its really no more then a basic interval or stations program that you can complete at home. They use two products that I help develop, they use them wrong because the program is targeted at the mainstream consumer market, where as the original product was developed for elite level athletes to be able to use resistance to improve reactive power while taking stress off the joints, and allowing them to keep a full range of motion during sports specific movements or hybrid competitive training competitions. PX90 adds very very basic plyometric and compound strength training movements to an aerobic base and run the program on a scaled down version of Crossfits ROW (rate of work) ratios. You'd get much better results doing an actual crossfit program or researching the topics yourself, getting a lifeline fitness portable power jumper or Flexnimbo, a plyobox and fitness club membership and putting your own program together. Don't forget the diet part of it which is the most important part.

I'm not sure what "Tabata Interval" is. I saw an infomercial about how to perform muscle confusion, in this program they wanted you to buy. It was called P90x I think.
