What are good treatments for eczema?

I have a spot on my eyelid that has flakes of skin on it. i wouldn't say it is a rash per se but it really itches and doesn't go away. It's been there for 4 months and moisturizer and antibiotic ointment hasn't helped. Please help it itches and flakes over. This isn't anywhere else on my body. It's just plain weird.

Eczema is not a specific condition; it's more of a catch-all term for various types of dermatitis, and the treatment depends on the specific cause. The most common cause of inflammation of the eyelid skin (anterior blepharitis) is seborrheic dermatitis, which is thought to be caused by a fungal (yeast) infection. Antifungal treatments such as ketoconazole are often effective.

See your doctor or ophthalmologist. Blepharitis can spread to the membranes of the eye itself, and what is now just a nuisance could become something more serious.
