Anyone know of a good teeth whitening solution?
I don't want to spend a fortune to go get my teeth professionally whitened, but I really feel like my teeth are in serious need of a good brightening. Any good suggestions or personal anecdotes about whitening their teeth?

there are little teeth whitening strips you can buy from Crest and various other brands that actually work they are hardly expensive and you just leave the on for about 30 min. and the results are pretty much instant. the results last around six months or so.
Anywho i have only done that like twice ever, but i recommend doing it to get things started. Also i suggest you buy toothpaste with baking soda content in it as that will drastically whiten your teeth in no time. And you will want some whitening chewing gum to throw in after meals.
so in a nutshell:
Whitening strips + Baking soda toothpaste + whitening gum = super white teeth
although don't go overboard with it lol. no body thinks teeth that are absurdly white are attractive. not to mention it can erode at the coating on your teeth if you go overboard. do everything in moderation.
your teeth will be noticeably whiter in 2 weeks or so and all these things can be acquired for very cheap and only a few cents more than what you would spend otherwise on gum and toothpaste.

I've used the Crest strips. They have different length of treatment (14, 7, 10 days). I've only tried the 14 day (believing to be less harsh on my teeth) and have had very good results. I'm sure it's not as good/long-lasting as the professional stuff you get at the dentist.

I will make sure to remember to use the baking soda toothpaste
also, what defines as going overboard? I really don't want to erode my teeth obviously. I just bought the listerine whitening strips and I'm using those to whiten my teeth because they got a little stained from when I had my braces on and I drank too many fruit shakes without using a straw.
Thanks!
honestly though i would alternate between tubes of toothpaste, using baking soda then when that runs out just using an average "whitening" toothpaste so that way you can give your teeth a break
