Yet his legacy and personality lives on in the students, projects, and companies he has touched. Today, whenever you use a piece of technology, there is a good chance a little bit of Rajeev Motwani is behind it"

Rajeev Motwani was a Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University. His research in the areas of data mining and algorithms has helped computer science advance rapidly. Professor Motwani died as a result of a swimming pool accident on June 5,2009.

Rajeev Motwani was a computer science professor at Stanford University and a very well known "Angel" investor in the early Silicon Valley Days. He was involved in PayPal and Google , and was best known for being the mentor of the two men that invented/founded Google. He died unexpectedly at the age of 45.
