Are all these last minute pre-Christmas retail discounts making you mad?

I bought most of my Christmas gifts weeks ago. Now retailers are "giving away the store" with 60-90% off and lots of special offers. It is too much bother to return everything and re-buy it, but I feel angry at stores I've trusted for years to offer me a fair price on a good product. Anyone else feel frustrated?

Whilst paying more earlier in the year does suck, at least it allows you to budget your Christmas shopping.
I personally find the best time to buy some Christmas gifts for the next year is in the post-Christmas sales.

No, I'm a late shopper, so I love it.

Seriously, I don't have any sympathy for buyer's remorse. You buy it, you buy it. You take the chance of getting undercut by a price reduction. I take the chance of the store running out of it. You roll the dice, you take your chances.

Well a lot of it has to do with normal year-end clearance to reduce down inventory for taxes, but with the economy being sub-par, retailers are trying to encourage sales by offering even more discounts.

To me, it is sort of a rush. To go in last minute and find the best deals at the best prices, who could ask for more?

Why would it make you mad? If you didn't value what you bought at its previous price, you shouldn't have bought it. If you are mad, what you're feeling is anger at other people for having luck. It seems really petty, right? I would be annoyed and maybe a little disappointed that I didn't wait, but I wouldn't get mad about it.
