You can find them on the Internet. Here's a site DateHookUp where single men are looking to go out on dates and meet single women. It's free, but if you'd like a paid service, you might want to try Match.com.

I didn't want to belittle your answer, but.....LA or any large town has more than bars to meet men. There are museums, stores, churches, volunteer groups.....and on and on.

Frankly, knowing that the internet makes it easy for any of us to "be anyone" and real life meetings makes it a tad more difficult, I just think that real world meetings are most likely to help us find what we need.
