What's the difference between "being nice" and flirting? How do you tell if she likes ya?

My first problem is I don't get out as much as I would like in an enviroment with a lot of single women. But there is one georgous girl that I met at a party and ironically enough, turns out she lives next door. (it's a college town and I don't know most of my neighbors) when I see her she is very kind and always says hi and I try to engage in small talk but I am terrible at reading the difference between being nice and flirting. I know I have been kinda vague but any input would be great!! If you need any more input ill try my best to help y'all get a better idea.

Well you can use some basic body language like if she plays with her hair or laughs at all of your jokes, and wants to spend more time than a neighbor usually does she's into you. If she keeps edging for her door or acts like she is in a hurry she is not. If you are into her just ask her if she knew that the hokey pokey was really what it was all about and if she would like to go out. All kidding aside the best way to find out is just flirt with her and look for her reaction. If all else fails ask her to get coffee with you the worst she could say is no.

Good advice! =) Especially the pick-up line...gonna have to try that...lol

One thing I would add is to watch her pupils. Small physiological change of attraction is the pupils will dilate...this will be more telling since they can't consciously control the reaction.

Most likely she will find some reason to be close to you, or subtlety touch you in a discreet way. Or she may find a way to need your assistance such as lifting something into her apartment or needing to borrow a cup of sugar!!! If you want to find out try slipping a piece of your mail under her door I would suggest something not important and see if she brings it back to you. If she is not into you, she will throw it into the trash..if she is in to you she will be happy to have an excuse to get an invite in! Good Luck

Your best bet is simply to ask her out and see. Have her over to watch a movie with some friends so that she's comfortable and you're comfortable. Make it simple. If she enjoys it, then you can ask her out on a date and see where things go from there.

Some girls are not flirting, they are just being nice. And some girls are flirting, but it doesn't actually mean anything. The only way you can really find out is if you start hanging out.
